Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience

We ventured into the Forbidden Forest and got to walk through some iconic moments from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts series!

Before the trail starts there was an option to buy some drinks and sweets (the drinks even had the option to add some adult "magic" shots ;) ) I had butterbeer for the first time and WOW. I asked if they had a gallon for purchase? Sadly, they didn't. For a sweet treat I had a sorting hat cake pop that sorted me into a house based on the colors inside! My actual house is Hufflepuff but the hat gave me Gryffindor.

The trail starts with an introduction via a deluminator and explanation of what to expect. Heads up: there are bathrooms before and after the trail but none while walking through it. And wear shoes suited for a traipse in the woods! I couldn't tell if there was any sort of timeline to the scenes or if they were in any sort of order. There is an app available for the experience that has magic moments and is timed with the trail!

For all the major spots there were lines available to stand and get your picture taken/ record. Buckbeak was there and if you bowed at him, he would bow back at you. I did learn that if you just walk past him that he will turn his head exactly like he did in the movie. But no attack this time.

Who could forget the flying car from the Chamber of Secrets?!

I wasn't able to get a picture of it, but my tiktok includes the video I got of me casting a patronus!

There were some cute little Nifflers guarding their treasure.

Very cool setup of Harry casting his patronus from the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Towards the end of the trail they had a wizarding duel set up! There were more interactive setups at the end of the trail where you could perform some spells yourself.

At the very end of it all was a little village set up where you could buy actual food and drinks and sit to eat! It was lit up with lots of Christmas Trees and some more photo spots.

I stopped in the gift shop on my way out and got some candies from the trolley!

This was a fantastic night and I highly recommend! I got the deluxe bundle that came with a bag, letter from hogwarts, a butterbeer stein, and a couple candies. In my opinion, it wasn't worth the extra money. I would love to do this again!
