Yuletide Joyride: A Texan Christmas Adventure in a Day

Looking for a fun day trip in Texas for some Christmas fun? The brand new Madisonville Christmas Company is great time! They have a little bit of everything: shopping, dining, space for kids to run around, and LOTS of cute photo opportunities!

Shopping

They had EVERYTHING! Stockings, Ornaments, Ribbon, Trees, Lights, Decor, you name it and they had it. Side note: they also had fully decorated trees on display and available for purchase as a full set which I thought was very smart. They had lots of different color schemes and style displayed and put together. Made it so easy to browse and find just what I was looking for! (and find the things that I didn't know I needed.)

Dining

Inside was the cutest cafe called Twelve25. They had coffee, drinks, snacks, candy, and a small menu of lunch items. Not to mention the most adorable Nutcracker themed inside eating area and beautifully decorated outside eating area. Outside on the lawn area was another food shop called The Mantel. I didn't get any food here but MAN it smelled delicious. I was impressed with both places and the menu offerings!

Photo Ops

I was impressed with all of the available spots to take pictures. Beautifully decorated backdrops and lights. I saw many families getting some shots of their kids!

From start to finish this was an incredible spot and I am so excited to make this a yearly tradition and see how the Madisonville Christmas Company grows and expands!

No Texas Road Trip is complete without a stop at Bucee's (or multiple stops at multiple spots.) I even managed to get a pic with the Big Buc himself! (himself? herself? theirself? does anyone know the beaver's gender?)
